I cannot give enough praise or recommendation for Joseph Low. I am an active-duty Marine Gunnery Sergeant, and received a DUI in town along with some other charges. He immediately reassured me that he would fight hard for my case in town, but also warned me of the wrath that would soon be coming from the military. If you have ever been in a fire fight, you know what its like to have your life in someone else's hands. Inside that court room for me was like combat, with my life on the line. I had to be able to trust my lawyer just like I trusted Marines in Iraq. Joe saved my life. He went to Hamdinyah Iraq in the Sunni Triangle to gather facts for my defense, literally putting his life on the line to help me, just another Marine. With 5 Marines and 1 Coremen testifying against me, I couldn't take a chance with my legal representation, I don't think I could have had better. Facing serious charges that could have kept me in prison for life, I walked away with an honorable discharge in hand. After my trial, Joe represented me in a meeting with General "Mad Dog" Mattis; where he personally offered me the opportunity to re-enlist. Joe Low made sure that I received a purple heart that was pending, for wounds I suffered in the "Battle of Fallujah". Honestly I don't think there is another lawyer with as much knowledge and skill in trial cases as Joe Low. He understood me and cared about winning my freedom when it seemed my chain of command threw me to the wolves. As an Infantrymen and a Marine, I believe in a code of honor; for my country, for my brothers. Joe listened when I had strong opinions about what I thought was right. He made sure I kept my honor and never tried to pressure me into taking a plea deal or do things that weren't in my interests. Even a year after my case, Joe is still someone I can trust, not only as a lawyer but as a friend, a brother.
In the end, my advice is always, trust your gut first, but remember "you're only as strong as the man to your left and to your right." Joe was the only lawyer strong enough to stand up for me when every other lawyer wanted to plea out and fold. Like I said, I wouldn't trust my life to anyone else.

To Joseph Low and his staff I would like to extend my deepest thanks and appreciation for all the hard work and dedication to my case and well being. In August of 2006 I was involved in an incident that was threatening to ruin my life. I've been an active duty Marine for 91/2 yrs and for the first time I was confronted with a battle that I did not know how to fight and much less win. I looked around and talked to many different types of lawyers, all of them spoke of, making deals, pleading out, telling me b.s. scenarios of how things would play out none of them even dreaming of going to trial with my case.
